Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer well recognized for her highly laudable performance in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The film Piano won her several awards, among them an Oscar. Early on her acclaimed actress started performing on stage in various Broadway or Off-Broadway productions. From the time she was a child she's been passionate about performing. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school play. The mumps caused her to lose hearing in one of her ear, however this didn't stop the actress from pursuing her dream. When she was a teenager, Hunter studied drama and then moved into New York City. She ran into Beth Henley in an elevator and they collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. As she settled in Los Angeles, she began looking for roles in films. Her first film role was as an actress supporting the main character in Swing Shift. Over the past three decades, since her time in Los Angeles Holly Hunter has been in many films, series and television films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
