Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter, an American actor and producer, is well-known for her stellar performance in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano earned her numerous awards which included an Oscar. Actresses have a long career of involvement in Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various initiatives. Acting has always been her passion. In the fifth grade she portrayed Helen Keller in an original play. Mumps led her to lose her hearing in one of her ears, but this didn't stop the actress from following her dreams. When she was a teenager, Hunter studied drama before moving into New York City. Hunter had her Broadway debut after an unplanned encounter in the company of Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart. Following her move from Los Angeles she tried to obtain film roles and was offered a supporting role in Swing Shift. Since then she has appeared in a variety of shows and TV films throughout a span of over three decades. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as her Women in Film Lucy Award.
